Project Background
Having previous success using Aqua-Pipe CIPP, Omaha MUD looked to the technology to rehabilitate three separate locations across the City. This included a major arterial roadway as well as a large residential area.
Overview
FER-PAL teamed up with local contractor, Heimes Contracting, to complete the project. FER-PAL, as the general contractor, was responsible for the project management along with the temporary bypass and CIPP portion of the project. As a subcontractor, Heimes was responsible for the restorations and civil works. The project was completed over the course of the summer with the restorations for the project completed in the fall. FER-PAL successfully reinstated 97% of the services within the project ensuring that the project maintained its limited impact.
